Really, besides Sienna Miller’s bad-ass take on The Baroness in 2009’s ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’, the only other appealing thing about the big-screen adaptation of the 1980s toys and cartoon series was Byung-hun Lee’s role as Storm Shadow. Perhaps it was his immaculate wardrobe of all white and managing not to get it dirty or blood stained or his dashing good looks but I think his take on the so-called ‘villain’ of the movie made it really hard … among other things … to not like Storm Shadow. He definitely sold me on the role when at the end he went shirtless in his final epic battle again Snake Eyes. Believe me, he definitely managed to storm and stir up my hormones after that scene.
Born in Seoul in 1970, Byung-hun Lee (also known around the Internet as Lee Byung-hun, and also by his Western name of Brian) is known for his acting roles in ‘Joint Security Area’, ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ as well as Korean television shows ‘All In’ and ‘IRIS’. And just by looking at him, it probably comes as no surprise that he’s had a few modeling gigs.
